Tutors will work delivering academic content at UCL whilst managers and activity leaders will work primarily from our accommodation at UCL.
Our activity leaders provide instruction, guidance and coaching to the students, whilst ensuring all activities are delivered to provide a safe, secure, and tolerant environment in a proactive and engaged manner.
Our activity managers work very closely with our centre management team, including the senior tutor to ensure that the non academic elements of the programme complement the academic areas and that the overall student experience is to a very high standard.
Our Centre Managers inspire, motivate and lead an entire school of staff, leaders, and students. They are a key contact for our head office team, our parents, students and the summer school staff. They are also typically the primary contact for our host universities and colleges.
Our Tutors help to facilitate the academic learning and development of our students by bringing our academic subjects to life in an engaging and fun classroom environment. As well as supporting their academic development, our Tutors also help our students improve their global understanding of the world.
The welfare & accommodation manager is the main point of contact for the university staff in relation to accommodation and catering requirements. They also oversee our guardian system and ensure our activity leaders are trained and aware of their responsibilities as guardians for our students.
