Oxford Day Trip

Oxford, often referred to as the “City of Spires,” is a city steeped in history, culture, and intellectual legacy. One of the university’s most famous legacy’s however beyond the wave of British politicians that graduated from here, is the birth of Alice in Wonderland; written by Lewis Carroll, a mathematics tutor at Christ Church College.

Students will absorb the environment and understand the inspiration behind the classic story with a full day cultural visit and tour of Oxford. This is not the only classic that deserves mention here. Kenneth Grahame bequeathed all the royalties of ‘The Wind in the Willows,’ which was based on the countryside around the Thames, to the University of Oxford, for the benefit of the Bodleian Library, to enable it to acquire many books and manuscripts for its readers.
